Galatians 5:26-6:5 (Roy Wall)

It is interesting to note that Paul is challenging the Galatians to walk and act out what the Holy Spirit is doing in them. Of real importance, Paul stresses, is for them not to become proud and boastful of what the Spirit has enabled them to be.

In 6::5, they are being instructed by Paul to treat others as their own family members; to bear one another’s burdens, to treat each other as Christ would treat them.

Being Spirit-led is the key to these verses. My prayer is to be Spirit-led just as Paul instructed the Galatians.
