Global Impact Celebration

February 23-26, 2012

Every year we celebrate what God is doing in the world at our Global Impact Celebration. Together we renew our vision to pray, give and go. We hear from our missionaries, international, regional and local partners the great things God is doing and learn how we can work together to advance his Kingdom. The impact of this celebration reverberates through the year in all that we do as a church.

Schedule of Events

Thursday Night Kickoff Celebration

The event kicks off on Thursday Night Feb. 23rd at 7 pm. This night sets the tone for the rest of the weekend. Come and enjoy a great night of worship and multi media, meet our ministry partners, and hear from special guest Speaker Fergus Ryan.

Friday Night World Briefings

On Friday night Feb. 24, groups of people will gather in homes all over the area to share an evening getting to know one of our ministry partners and hearing about the work God is doing through them.  To find out where these groups will meet, and which partner will be where, just pick up the information sheet in the lobby.

Saturday Night International Family Reunion Dinner

Join us for a phenomenal catered meal and a night focused on what it will take to fulfill the great commission.  We will hear from ministry partners who are reaching some of the darkest places on earth. Our special guest speaker that night is Doug Carter, Vice President of EQUIP ministries.  This is a ticketed event.  Tickets will be on sale in the foyer on Sunday Feb. 5th, 12th, and 19th. Prices are $10 for an adult and $2 for children 11 and under. There is limiting seating, so don’t wait to pick up your tickets.

Sunday Services

The event will culminate on Sunday Feb. 26 when we receive the pledges for our advance the kingdom offering.

Advance The Kingdom Offering

We love to give to missions. That’s why the leadership designates 15% or more of our general fund to outreach. Then we dream of doing more!  We dream about helping our ministry partners around the world so they can advance God’s Kingdom. Maybe it is a new vehicle to get to remote areas with the Gospel. Or perhaps they need a team to come over and teach on family or how to create a ministry to children. We dream of planting new churches in our region and multi-sites in our city. We dream of reaching our city through a ministry to high schools, helping women with unplanned pregnancies, and scattering the seed of the Gospel to thousands.

We put all these “dreams” together and create our Advance the Kingdom Offering. Each year at our Global Impact Celebration we share this and then take up this offering. People give or pledge to give over the next 12 months. If you would like to contribute to our current ATK you can do so by designating your gift to Grace Church with a memo “ATK”.
